Dauset Trails Nature Center
We took John to Dauset Trails Nature Center yesterday and had a blast. I soooo wish I would have remembered to bring bread with us or some quarters so that he could have fed some of the animals!
But we really had fun. We brought our lunch and at out by their pond and watched the Geese family that lives there. Then we walked the trails and checked out the wildlife they have and then checked out the farm animals. We missed the awesome garden they have so we will have to check it out next time. The best thing about the place is that it's FREE :) of course we gave a donation though :)
Here a some pics of our day
The Geese

The Cougar

Sleeping Bear

Taking a Water break with Daddy

I love this picture

An owl carved from the stump

Meeting the pig

And lastly feeding the goats

Well the weather has been just beautiful around here lately so we have been spending much needed time outdoors :)
John is a crazy man as usual. Hopefully we can get him some new outdoor toys so that he has plenty of entertainment out there (other than running where he shouldn't HA)
He is talking, talking, talking, talking. He is getting really good at putting words together and will pretty much repeat anything that you say.
We've also gone back to using Cloth diapers but only part-time. I'm hoping maybe they will help convince him to potty train HAHA.
Here are a few new pictures from yesterday.
Just woke up from his nap (his cheeks are red from laying on them)

Just put on a Cloth Diaper, I missed the fluffy pics. It's still a little bulky, I have to refresh myself on folding them well!

Playing with a bucket of Soapy water, a way to cool off and clean some toys. Of course the bucket ends up on his head!

Needed a rest after all the playing :)

Catch-up Update
I am really behind in this so here is our update.....
John is doing great :) He is growing, growing, growing. He is already up to 30 lbs and I can't remember his exact height, but I believe he is around 35 inches.
Here are a few pictures from the last few months....
Snow in January

Our visit to FL a few months ago

He loves to bake, cookies he just helped make

A few from Easter

Most recent, a visit from the Crofts
The bike they gave him

I learned to make bread while they were here :)

Merry Christmas
I'm behind on this, but I wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone! And Happy Birthday Grandaddy!
We had a great dinner tonight with the Majoros and John has been in bed for a while now. Of course he started seeming a little under the weather yesterday, but he's being a trooper and still being silly as always. Santa has already visited our house and I can't wait to see John's reaction in the morning.
I hope you all have a wonderful day with your families!
